The executive committee decided to establish member support and information desk; SEBS Help Desk in short. The establishment will be currently operated by the “Emergency Support and Relief Standing” under the coordination of the vice president. “Emergency Support and Relief Standing” and the SEBS Help Desk will report to the president. It is also decided to appoint Abhishek Basnyat and Tilak Dhital as the members of the “Emergency Support and Relief Standing”. The committee shall recruit required volunteers (including health professionals) and create an efficient work module.
- Collaboration with other organization for community service
Based on the request received from Kings College, the executive committee has decided to collaborate with the college in the establishment and running of a dry isolation center for the health professionals. SEBS will immediately work with the social welfare council for the mobilization of foreign donations.
- Establishment of Oxygen Concentrator (OC) Bank and Contribution for Budhanilkantha Community
The executive committee has decided to establish an oxygen concentrator’s bank. The bank will acquire oxygen concentrators as donation and purchase as required. OC available will be provided to SEBSers and SEBS Family (Staff of Budhanilkantha School and Family Members of Budhanilkantha School’s students) free of cost. Emergency Support and Relief Standing committee will prepare the necessary documents for the management of the bank
The meeting also decided to donate one OC to Budhanilkantha Municipality.
As all the agenda set for the meeting was discussed and there were no new discussion topics, the chairperson thanked the members for their time, wished everyone to stay safe and take care and concluded.
