We are thrilled to announce that the grant secured by SEBS, titled “U.S. Higher Education Guidance Counsellor Training,” from the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, has been successfully concluded! This program, which provided essential training to Nepali teachers from various provinces, has also received official recognition from the U.S. Embassy.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to 978A Hemendra Singh Bohra, 590B Srijana Chhetri, and 4068D Abbal Dhakal for their dedication in applying for and executing this project through SEBS. We also extend our sincere thanks to our esteemed member, 310B Dinesh Prasai, for supporting us greatly in organizing the session in Pokhara, along with everyone else who played a role in making this initiative a success in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Biratnagar.

Recognizing that teachers and guidance counselors are critical in guiding and supporting students in achieving their full potential and dreams, USEF-Nepal EducationUSA Advising Center partnered with the Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students to lead the first-ever Higher Education Guidance Counselor Training Program, training over 90 high school teachers and guidance counselors across Kathmandu, Biratnagar, and Pokhara. Through this program, the U.S. Embassy in Nepal aims to equip high school teachers with more knowledge and resources about applying to colleges and universities in the United States so they can help Nepali students better navigate the application process.
