His research looks at transitions to higher education and employment, particularly as they affect the socio-economic mobility of people from marginalized communities. He is also the Executive Director of Samaanta Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive higher education fellowships to public school graduates from disadvantaged backgrounds. He has a D.Phil.<br>in International Development from the University of Oxford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Luna Ranjit<\/strong>, (564B) is a writer, organizer, and a recovering nonprofit executive.
